It features stunning, full-length, colour pictures of twelve of his greatest instruments from the world's finest photographers. These violins, played by artists like Itzhak Perlman, Fritz Kreisler, Pinchas Zukerman, Kyung Wha Chung, Isaac Stern and Jascha Heifetz, are rarely seen in public and some - the 1735 Kubelik and the Alard and Dushkin from 1742 - have never appeared in print until now.
