While Part 1 examined the lives and times of Ray Brown, Paul Chambers, Charles Mingus and Scott LaFaro among others, Part 2 explores the influence of players including John Kirby, Peter Kowald, Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen and Aladar Pege.
